Precision and Protection - Advanced Circuit Design for EMI/EMC and Noise Reduction
Join Mr Frikkie Marx, for a comprehensive two-day workshop.
Book before 11 October 2024 to take advantage of the early bird discount! Additionally, you will be entitled to a 25% returning student discount to one of EIT's Professional Certificate of Competency Courses.
Workshop Overview:
This workshop aims to equip participants with the skills to identify, design, prevent, and resolve common EMC/EMI issues, with a special focus on grounding and shielding techniques.
Addressing grounding and shielding problems on the job can be both costly and frustrating, despite the simplicity of most underlying principles. This workshop provides participants with the tools to approach these issues logically and systematically, targeting specific challenges in the design, operation, and maintenance of analog or digital systems. These systems may involve sensors, data acquisition, process control, cables, signal processing, programmable logic controllers, power distribution, and high-speed logic.
The circuit board layout section emphasizes the design and arrangement of circuits and components on printed circuit boards.
The primary focus is on practical design and system-related issues, rather than regulations and standards. Participants will be able to apply the workshop's key principles immediately to design and troubleshooting tasks in their workplace.
Who Should Attend:
- Electrical and Electronics Engineers
- PCB Designers
- System Integrators
- Project Managers
- Quality Assurance Engineers
- Maintenance Technicians
- Research and Development Engineers
- Technical Consultants
- Academics and Educators
- Anyone Involved in Signal Processing, Data Acquisition, or Process Control: Individuals working with analog or digital systems, sensors, cables, and high-speed logic components.
